Olivia Culpo has been named as the winner of Miss University, becoming the first American to do so in 15 years.

The 20-year-old Boston University student, a talented cellist, beat 88 competitors to be presented with the famous tiara at Planet Hollywood casino in Las Vegas.
Ms Culpo is the first winner from the US since Brook Lee won the beauty pageant in 1997.
